Sometimes it's hard to know what to buy a teenage girl because they already have so much stuff and clutter. Perhaps there’s nothing they really want or need. In these cases, its nice to look for a gift that isn’t stuff at all. There are lots of ideas. Check some out below.

There are lots of experience days you can pay for your teen girl to do from action sports to pamper days. Some ideas include, a helicopter ride, a hot air balloon ride, a spa day, a go karting experience, makeovers and photoshoots, water sports (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing etc) and adrenalin experiences such as a bungee jump or zip wire.

A Class

There are some great classes and lessons that teen girls would love as gifts. Obviously the class you choose will have to match her interests. Here are some ideas:

A make up lesson - perhaps with a local beautician. It’is a great school for teenagers and women to have and will be useful throughout life is she is the type to wear make up.
Lessons for a musical instrument - have they expressed an interest in playing the guitar, piano, drums or other musical instrument. Then a set of lessons to get them started will be a winning gift.

Sometimes the best gift is that of time. We are often so busy in our lives with don't make enough time for our loved ones. A birthday or Christmas gift of time can be the most precious. So pick a date and spend it with your teen doing exactly what she wants to do. It could be doing one of the other activities listed in this article. It could just be afternoon tea or even a pajama day watching movies, making and eating food.

Many young teen girls would love a pet but that’is not always practical when you are out all day at work. An alternative to this is an animal adoption. Many zoos allow you to adopt animals. Rescue centres also have animals up for adoption who are unable to be rehomed. Also, charities such as the born wild foundation allow you to adopt animals who live in the wild.

Membership Gift

Is there a society or a clue that a teen would like to be a member of? You could buy them a year’s membership as a gift. Or perhaps they would appreciate a membership of a local museum or other venue so that they can visit whenever they want.
