Fun and Inspiring Books That Make Awesome Gifts

Books are sometimes the easiest gifts to buy for teen girls when you’re not sure what else to get. There are lots of really fun ideas and many that are inspirational too.

I have included a wide range of book ideas that make excellent gifts for the teenage years. Some of these are for specific age groups. There are books that are obviously for older teens and ones that are better for younger teens to use your judgement when choosing. And some the are great for all ages.

Help her make the most of her high school years with this fun book. There are tons of suggestions of great things to do to make the most out of this time in your life. 
From working on your personal development by creating a journal, joining a club or making a public speech. To spending time with your friends, singing karaoke and getting a penpal.

You could use it as a family discussion starter one evening perhaps instead of watching TV or when you're eating a meal. 
It's a good way to find out about likes and dislikes and to get people to put forward arguments as to why they like certain things. 
Its also a good activity to do at a sleepover or party.

Advice To My 18 Year Old Self

This obviously is an option for girls who are celebrating an 18th birthday but it also makes a brilliant Christmas gift or a graduation present too.
It features letters from authors to their 18 your old self giving advice on things they wish’d they’d known at that age.

​It actually makes an interesting read for adults too.
It's a fun book but very inspiring too. There will probably be some stories that speak to the reader more than others but each has some excellent nuggets of wisdom.

This is a brilliant book for young teens that talks to them in their words. Its easy to forget just how much pressure teeangers can be under. This book gives great advice from older teens and other female role models to help them navigate these difficult teenage years.

There’s advice on dealing with friendship cliques, finding a place in your family as well as the complicated issue of boys. It encourages girls  to become confident and strong in their values and themselves. ​

This book is aimed at the student who’is off to college or not been at college too long.

This book is jam packed full of advice to help teens navigate their way through the college years.

There is lots of insiders advice including how to get the best grades, dorm living, dating, managing money and parties.

It’s hilarious in places and really talks to teenagers in a style they can understand.
